StrongSchoolsNC Public Health Toolkit (K-12)

The Governor’s Office and NCDHHS released StrongSchoolsNC –
Public Health Toolkit (K-12)
yesterday afternoon. The document is about the health and safety of students, school staff and families. Schools are required to create three plans depending what restrictions are necessary when school opens.

  • Plan A: Minimal Social Distancing
  • Plan B: Moderate Social Distancing and
  • Plan C: Remote Learning Only.

The document lists required health practices and recommended health practices. The recommended practices would be tailored to each school/school district as appropriate.

NCDPI and the State Board of Education will release their guidelines at Thursday’s SBE Meeting, June 11, 2020.
