The Higher Education Section of NCMEA maintains a close relationship with NCMEA, the North Carolina State Department of Public Instruction, NAfME: The National Association for Music Education, and other organizations devoted to advocating for music education at all levels of education and in the larger community. The Higher Ed Section is planning for the next conference, improved networking between higher education faculty, and increased participation of members.
