Welcome to the Middle School Chorus Section website! My name is Emily Turner and I am excited about serving as the North Carolina Music Educators Association Middle School Chorus Chairperson. I will be working with the Middle School Executive Board and Angel Rudd, our new Chair-Elect to continue moving the Middle School Chorus Section forward in creating outstanding musical experiences for our students and colleagues.
The NCMEA Middle School Chorus Section offers many performance opportunities for our singers throughout the school year. This website provides you with the online forms needed to apply for NCMEA Middle School Honors Chorus, Music Performance Adjudication, and All-State Chorus. Eligibility requirements for each of these activities are described in our Constitutional Policies and Procedures. Application forms are also available for the NCMEA Richard Keasler Teacher of the Year and NCMEA Conference Performance Choirs. NCMEA celebrates the continued growth and success of our middle school music teachers. This website is designed to assist you by making forms easily accessible.
