The Teacher Education Committee is responsible for keeping the Board informed about activities, conferences and publications related to teacher education as well as developments in teacher licensure. Assists with planning sessions for the annual NCMEA Professional Development Conference in conjunction with the chairs of Higher Education and Research. The Chair may serve as the state liaison to the NAfME Society for Music Teacher Education.
