Who We Are

NCMEA is one of eleven state affiliates of the Southern Division of NAfME: the National Association for Music Education. The mission of NCMEA is to promote music as a fundamental component of education and to provide opportunities for lifelong learning by supporting teachers, students, and communities in developing and fostering excellence in music.

It is NCMEA’s intention to provide valuable information and resources. The members of the Board of Directors are dedicated and committed to quality music education for all children and are most willing to assist the NCMEA membership in any way. If you have questions and/or need assistance you are invited and encouraged to contact any NCMEA Board member or our Executive Director, Pat Hall.
