Congratulations to the 9 concert band, 1 jazz, 8 mixed choir, and 7 symphony orchestra students that were selected for NAFME’s All-National Honor Ensembles. The students will travel to Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando FL, November 26 – 29, 2017. NCMEA is pleased to help each student with a $250 travel stipend.
Twelve NC band students were selected to participate in the 2018 US Army All-American Marching Band. This is an all expenses paid trip to San Antionio TX, January 1 – 8, 2018. The band will perform during halftime at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on January 6.
