DESCRIPTION:The deadline for the Winter Edition of North Carolina Music Educator Journal is December 1. This is especially relevant for our section chairs\, who are finishing their terms.  \nSection Chairs\nDo you know who your new section chair is? Please let them know they need to submit an 800 word Section Update by December 1. Usually\, for the winter issue\, we talk about Teacher of the Year winners and any other awards that were given out at conference. \nAlso\, Kim needs headshots of the section chairs and pictures of the winners. If you’re uber-organized you could work on getting the winner bios and photos ahead of time as a gift to the next chair. \nDistrict Presidents\nKim needs a paragraph or two on what’s going on in Districts 4\, 5 and 6. \nIn addition\, if any non-scheduled districts affected by the hurricane would like to share what’s going on in their area (rebuilding their programs\, classrooms and just generally what life is like right now)\, Kim can make a special update for you all.
