DESCRIPTION:NCMEA’s 2022 Collegiate Conference Scholarships will cover the cost of conference registration ($50) for 28 deserving Collegiate NAfME members with demonstrated financial need. Scholarship recipients are expected to participate in conference sessions for a minimum of two days and are encouraged to attend the following two events: \n\nCollegiate Mixer on Sunday\, November 6th from 4:30 PM -5:20 PM\nCollegiate Business Meeting on Sunday\, November 6th from 5:30 PM -6:00 PM\n\nAll collegiate members with financial need are welcome to apply; collegiate students who are first-time conference attendees will receive priority. Please note that this scholarship award does not cover NAfME/NCMEA Membership which is required to attend the conference. Please visit https://nafme.org/join-renew/ to join or renew your membership before submitting your application.  \nApplication Requirements:\n\nCurrent collegiate member of NCMEA/NAfME\nCurrent student at a North Carolina higher education university/college\nCommitted to attend at least two days of conference\nStatement of financial need is signed by your C-NAfME chapter faculty advisor or Music Education professor\n\nSelection Process:\n\nApplications will be reviewed by the Collegiate Executive Board in the order in which they are received. DESCRIPTION:The Professional Development Conference Scholarship is intended to provide grant funding to NCMEA members attending the NCMEA Professional Development Conference for the first time. The purpose of this grant is to encourage membership in NCMEA and to encourage yearly participation in the NCMEA Professional Development Conference for the length of a career. \nThree scholarships will be awarded each year. The scholarship funds will cover the cost of conference registration and three nights in the conference hotel. The estimated value of each scholarship is $600. DESCRIPTION:Twelve state Music Education Associations (MEAs)* across the United States have partnered with Maryland MEA to host the 2021 Virtual Conference on July 13-15\, 2021. \nAll sessions will be hosted live between 11:00 AM and 4:45 PM ET daily. \nBuilding on successes from past virtual events\, we anticipate hosting thousands of educators from across the United States and beyond for professional learning.  \nWe are dedicated to building a diverse and inclusive community in which participants and members of all backgrounds can access events\, programs\, services\, and be treated fairly.
