SUMMARY:Collegiate Conference Scholarships Open
DESCRIPTION:NCMEA’s 2026 Collegiate Conference Scholarships will cover the cost of conference registration ($50) for up to 35 deserving Collegiate NAfME members with demonstrated financial need. Scholarship recipients are expected to participate in conference sessions for a minimum of two days and are encouraged to attend the Collegiate Business Meeting on Sunday\, November 8th at 4:00 PM.  \nAll collegiate members with financial need are welcome to apply; collegiate students who are first-time conference attendees will receive priority. Please note that this scholarship award does not cover NAfME/NCMEA Membership which is required to attend the conference. \nPlease visit https://nafme.org/join-renew/ to join or renew your membership before submitting your application. \n  \nAPPLICATION \n  \nApplication Requirements:\n\nCurrent collegiate member of NCMEA/NAfME.\nCurrently enrolled at a North Carolina higher education university/college.\nCommitted to attending at least two days of the 2026 conference.\nNo funds for cost of registration are available from either your university or Collegiate NAfME chapter.\nContact phone number for your C-NAfME chapter faculty advisor or a Music Education professor who knows you well is provided.\nStatement of financial need is included.\n\nSelection Process:\n\nApplications will be reviewed by the Collegiate Executive Board in the order in which they are received. SUMMARY:Application Deadline - Singer/Songwriter & Music Producer Showcase
DESCRIPTION:We are excited that you are applying to participate in NCMEA’s Singer/Songwriter and Music Producer Showcase! All applicants must fill out the information below to be considered for the showcase. Applying for the showcase does not guarantee you will be invited to participate. Once your application has been reviewed\, the popular music education committee will reach out to you regarding your acceptance. Space is limited.  \nPlease note: The showcase will be a 2 hour session hosted at the Benton Convention Center in Winston-Salem at NCMEA’s state conference on November 8th from 3:30PM to 5:30PM. Teachers and/or parents are responsible for travel to and from the conference event\, including lodging (if applicable). Equipment (Amps\, microphones\, amplification and project screen) will be provided. \nApplicants should plan to submit a video and/or audio recording of your song(s). Only one song is necessary for the application.
