DESCRIPTION:NCMEA will again offer Conference Registration Scholarships to assist up to 48 deserving Collegiate NAfME members who may otherwise be unable to attend the conference in Winston-Salem (November 4-7).  Scholarships will completely cover the early registration cost ($50). Priority will be given to first time attendees. \nConference Scholarship Applications will be accepted now through Friday\, October 6th at 5 PM. Awardees will be informed of their scholarship details by Monday\, October 9th; early registration closes on October 14th. DESCRIPTION:The Elementary Section of NCMEA each year selects an Elementary Music Teacher of the year. Administrators\, fellow teachers\, or other professionals they have worked with may nominate teachers. Please submit all nominations to the Elementary Section Chair by June 1st. The Executive Committee will review all nominations and the recipient will be announced during the annual NCMEA Professional Development Conference. \n New Nomination Process: Please read carefully. \nAny supervisor or colleague of an elementary music teacher is able to nominate an NCMEA music teacher for this award\, however\, it is strongly encouraged to review the criteria and rubric before submitting a nomination.
