DESCRIPTION:North Carolina’s Annual Conference of Arts & Action \nArts Day is an annual gathering of arts leaders from across the state for unity and advocacy. April 17 is a conference day at NC State\, featuring information\, inspiration\, and performances (this year includes Rissi Palmer\, Lenora Helm Hammonds\, and Ben Folds!).  \nApril 18 is Legislative Day when groups of attendees meet with state legislators. \nRegistration scholarships are available for educators! DESCRIPTION:Because of changes in the legislative calendar this year\, we have moved our in-person Legislative Day to June 7\, 2022. We will come together at Halifax Mall at the ARTS Day Pavilion Tent\, get inspired and Speak UP for the Arts with our elected leaders. \nRegistration is FREE so join us and join your voices on June 7th! \nNOTE: There will be no lunches provided at the tent this year. Feel free to bring your lunch or there are many downtown restaurants close by.
