Elementary Section Introduction

Welcome to the Elementary Section of NCMEA.
We are glad that you have visited our site and hope it will be of value to you as you strive to provide quality music education in your schools. Please search through the site where you will find our constitution and by-laws, information on our fall conference and State Honors Chorus, news, announcements and awards. Feel free to go to the Share Fair link where you will find ideas submitted by teachers across North Carolina for you to try in your classrooms. It is our goal to foster a close relationship among music teachers throughout North Carolina and to provide resources that will assist you in teaching Elementary School music. Conference Information

Each year music educators from across the state gather for our NCMEA Conference. There are many wonderful performances to attend including our own Elementary Honors Chorus Concert. Along with the performances, sessions are offered to members on a wide variety of topics. The Elementary Board members plan sessions specifically designed for the Elementary Music teacher. You will not want to miss this wonderful opportunity to meet with other teachers, learn new things and be encouraged. Below you will find information pertaining to this year’s conference.
