2019-2020 Western Region Jazz Dates:
December 11th – Registration deadline for Western Region auditions. Signature form, copy of NAfME card and check all have to be in the envelope and postmarked on or before 12/11/18 to be on time.
January 18th – Western Region Jazz Auditions – Hough HS in Cornelius, NC
January 31st-February 1st – All Region Jazz Clinic – Asheville HS in Asheville, NC
March 7th – All-State Band and All-State Jazz Band Auditions – Central Davidson MS in Lexington, NC (Snow make-up date is March 14th)
April 3rd-4th – All-State Jazz Band Clinic – NC State University in Raleigh, NC
April 10th – Deadline for Jazz MPA Registration
May 8th-9th – Jazz MPA – Northview MS in Hickory, NC
Contingency Plan for Western Region Orchestra and All Region Jazz Auditions Snow Date
If All Region Jazz Auditions move to the snow date, and students are registered for Western Region Orchestra and All Region Jazz, students will have their times for auditioning adjusted to accommodate travel time. Western Region Orchestra will take precedence and then Jazz will come next. We will work with the Western Region Orchestra Audition coordinators to try and come to the best solution for each child.
