Central Region Jazz Auditions

On-Time Registration – $15 per student

• Checks need to be postmarked by December 11, 2019.
• One Check payable to: NCJR-Central. School, Band Booster or Money Orders will be accepted only (no cash).

If one student auditions on multiple instruments, the fee has to be paid for each audition.

Late Registration – $30 per student

MATERIALS

Auditions are open to students in grades 6-12 who are currently enrolled in a public or private school in the state of North Carolina, who are part of the jazz ensemble/band program at their school at least one semester during the school year in which they audition. The student’s band director must be a member in good standing of NAfME and NCMEA and must accompany and check-in the student(s) on the day of the audition.

• December 11th – Registration deadline for All Region Jazz Auditions
• January 11th – All Region Jazz Auditions – Orange HS (Central District MS/HS)
  and Middle Creek HS (East Central MS/HS and Southeastern MS)
• January 18th – Snow date for All Region Jazz Auditions – Orange HS (Central District MS/HS)
  and Middle Creek HS (East Central MS/HS and Southeastern MS)
• January 24th-25th – All Region Jazz Clinic – Panther Creek HS
• February 8th-9th – Snow Date for All Region Jazz Clinic – Panther Creek HS
• March 24th – Deadline for Jazz MPA Registration
• April 24th – Jazz MPA – Middle Creek HS
