Kathy Schrock's Guide for Educators - Performing Arts : Dance, Music, and Drama Smithsonian Institute's Folkways Recordings site Smithsonian Folkways Recordings is a record label operated by the Smithsonian Institution (SI). As part of it's outreach campaign, SI hopes to reach more high school teachers. Smithsonian Folkways puts out a variety of music, such as blues, bluegrass, world music, Native American and American folk traditions. These recordings could be a valuable resource to teachers. Murray Houllif's site with listing of his percussion scores and where they may be obtained. Mr. Houllif has taught public school music for 30 years and percussion at North Texas State University.
