NCMEA Twenty-Five Year Recognition Application

Have you taught 25 years?

NCMEA is trying to update files on members who have not been recognized or who have been recognized
and are not on our current list of 25-year recipients. Check the current list on the NCMEA website, www.ncmea.net under Handbook. Please complete this form if you qualify and are not on the list.

Requirements

1. Applicant must have at least 25 years of active teaching in music education, but not necessarily all in North
Carolina.
2. Applicant must have held membership in the North Carolina Music Educators Association for 10 of the last
15 years of his/her teaching career. Membership in a music educator association of another state will be
considered valid.
3. Candidates whose 25 years include Armed Forces service are also eligible, provided it was interrupted
timer (in the middle of the applicant’s teaching).
4. Awards will be made at the annual NCMEA In-Service Conference in Winston-Salem.
